Dux is a substantial New Zealand distributor of plumbing product,  market leader in its sector and part of the Aliaxis group; a global manufacturer with operations in more than 45 countries. A parental leave contract through to July 2020, this is an opportunity to work within a small and focused team, and take on a broad busy Product Management role in an interesting and challenging sector, that will enhance your CV.

You will be a high performing individual, business savvy and degree qualified in marketing or business. You may be in a mid level product / brand management role, seeking more momentum or breadth, and greater responsibility and challenge. You enjoy technical products, and a position which interfaces strongly with sales and encompasses regular customer interactions with a merchant distribution channel.

You will work broadly across the business in a full product management role, including market and competitor research, marketing programme implementation, product sourcing and QC, launches and events, development of marketing collateral, NPD, channel management, merchant tender processes and a variety of projects. The role promises challenge and good growth in responsibilities.

From your previous marketing / product management experience you will have developed sound business acumen and a sense of the big picture; understanding the linkages between your marketing role and the commercial and strategic value your projects are delivering to the business. Personality wise you are down to earth, happy to be hands on, and capable of working broadly across your organisation. You are high performing, confident in your ability, and demonstrate a strong team approach, but with sound capability to manage projects autonomously.
